Rant - A satisfied customer.

This is a little different than usual... I am letting someone else say a few words this month... my first in-store customer, the lovely Maureen. I didn't know she would be dropping in but we had worked so hard to get the showroom ready and everything was just about finished.

I was so surprised to get this lovely email from her later that day.

SO the moral of this months 'rant' is that we are TRULY in this together!

Dear Susan Maria & Ty
I just want you know that Gary & I had the best time at your 'New Store'. First of all, when I went on the website early this morning to get the address of your new store 'Before & After Nutrition' here in Pompano Beach, Florida, I never imagined seeing you there!!! Here I am 28 days pre-op and so exicted to be having RNY surgery soon...and who do I meet? Susan Maria herself!!! You and Ty were such gracious hosts at the store explaining all the benefits of each beautifuly displayed product.

Standing at the 'Protein Bar' sampling all the goodies was such a treat! I had never tasted a protein shake before, and man oh man, how good they were ! Who would have thought I would be sharing a shake with the queen of BariatricEating.com? Your knowledge of the products was so enlightening, and your friendly and refreshing demeanor was so welcome.

Gary was so impressed with both you and Ty and what you have done for the bariatric community. I explained to him that you and Ty are indeed the 'Oprah and Stedman' of Weight Loss Surgery for Gastric Bypass patients all over the world. You have an enthusiasm for life that is positively contagious. I was so glad that Gary and Ty got along so well and had so many things in common in addition to having young & beautiful wives... lol! It seems that we have more in common than we both knew, when I got home and was reading through your book, I realized we have the same birthdate August 30th, life sure is funny sometimes.

Knowing that I have wonderful friends old and new going into this surgery, comforts me so much when I get a little scared of what my 'new life' will be like. And now knowing that I can count you among them is a added blessing to this surgery. Thank you again for sharing 'war stories' with me today and now knowing that in my battle to fight obesity I have chosen the right 'tools', and armed myself with the right people I go forward to win back my life.
